SARSPLEX is a high throughput COVID-19 test that helps measure three different antibody responses against two proteins on the SARS-CoV-2 virus. TICKPLEX and SARSPLEX are the product of his PhD research on creating, conforming, and commercialising holistic diagnostic tools for infectious. Kunal is an inventor and entrepreneur at heart. The Finnish Science Foundation for Technology and Economics (KAUTE foundation) has awarded Kunal the Young Research Entrepreneur of the year. He is the first foreign national ever to receive the title from the KAUTE foundation in Finland. Furthermore, Kunal has earned a place in the Forbes 30 under 30 science and healthcare category.
